Design to Value Competitive Analysis Engineer

We design and develop electronic and electro-mechanical or systems-orientated products, conduct feasibility studies on engineering proposals and prepare installation, operation and maintenance specifications and instructions. You will:

  • Support the DTV competitive analysis strategy and deliverables through product evaluations across the Client Solutions Group (CSG) portfolio

  • Perform comprehensive product assessments, including user experience evaluations, hardware/software analysis, physical teardowns, system-level testing, and cost benchmarking

  • Deliver detailed, data-driven reports and presentations that inform and influence product differentiation

  • Collaborate closely with platform core team members to ensure strong cross-functional alignment and knowledge sharing

  • Continuously refine and enhance our competitive analysis process to deliver actionable insights


Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; multidisciplinary engineering background preferred

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-tech consumer electronics industry

  • Proven hands-on experience with the assembly and disassembly of computers or electronic devices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Desirable Requirements

  • Familiarity with Design to Value (DTV) or Design to Cost (DTC) methodologies

  • Ability to assess situations objectively and influence stakeholders through clear, persuasive communication
