This Asia Generation Section Leader will work alongside the ANZ Generation Section Leader, Geothermal Section Leader and Philippines Section Leader to assign resources to secure and deliver services within the APAC region. Global integrated delivery will be a key performance indicator for the section leader role.
The Section Leader supports the APAC Geographic Manager and provides leadership to their Section. In the Section Leader role you will provide inspirational leadership and role modelling of Jacobs’ core values, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture that embodies Jacobs’ Culture of Caring and prioritises the health and wellbeing of your people. You will set clear direction and provide a strong client focus. Your responsiveness and ability to develop strong client relationships will help to ensure we can identify and anticipate client needs and ensure our recruitment, retention and development programs reflect this need.
Requirements:
- With a Bachelor's Engineering Degree fro
- Member of the Chartered Institution with associated relevant experience
- Experience across thermal and renewable technologies through project development and into execution.
- Experience in securing and delivering services for generation clients from identifying opportunities, through preparing proposals to managing projects to completion.
- Understands market trends and financial drivers to contribute to and drive sound commercial decision making.
- Understands the importance of accuracy and has high attention to details
- Customer focused, passionate about exceeding the requirements of internal and external stakeholders and have the ability to effectively interact and build strong relationships with Clients and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate excellent planning and time management skills
The Ideal Candidate:
- Power generation delivery experience in development and execution
- Engineering consulting experience
- Experience in business development from identifying opportunities through to securing orders
- Business management experience, including compliance with corporate governance requirements.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
- Creative problem-solver with the ability to challenge concepts constructively
- Experience in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects
