This Management position requires a deep, thorough, and broad working knowledge of modern computer hardware architectures, as well as general software, operating system, and compiler knowledge. Good Communication, Teamwork, and Organizational skills are a must. Technical depth is required for your success. We are not an engineering team, but our programs are closely tied to software, infrastructure, and data. Much of our value lies in our ability to convey deeply technical issues to legal and policy teams, and convey legal and policy issues to technical teams. The key responsibilities of the individual at this position include;Ensuring consistent and accurate performance modeling and prediction and analysis to ensure targets are met for each product.
- 10+ years of experience in computer hardware architecture and development.
- 3 years managing a team of electrical or computer science engineers/architects
- Deep knowledge of hardware/systems architecture
- Ability to work cross-functionally across Silicon, HW, SW and other groups in line with product lifecycles.
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred
- Knowledge of software development, compiler, and operating system fundamentals is very desirable.
- Experience in performance/power analysis and modeling is preferred
- Experience analyzing customer use cases and distilling necessary requirements
- Experience communicating and engaging with customers
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Experience with Mac systems is a plus.
