What you will do

1. Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale, complex technical programs within the Payments domain.
2. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Business teams to develop user friendly, compliant and innovative solutions tailored to Uber's needs.
3. Define project scope, establish priorities, and align teams to achieve shared goals.
4. Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks, ensuring smooth program execution.
5. Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, bridging technical and business requirements.
6. Continuously evaluate and improve program management practices to deliver scalable, high-quality results.

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Manager in software or systems development.
3. Proven success in managing end-to-end delivery of technical programs in the payments or financial technology domain.
4. Strong technical acumen, with experience in distributed systems and microservice architectures.
5. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders and drive alignment.
6. Mastery of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Comprehensive expertise in payment systems, digital wallets, checkout flows, payment processing, and financial services, with a demonstrated ability to optimize and innovate across these domains.
2. Experience developing and tracking program KPIs to measure success and drive improvements.
3. Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
4. Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
5. Experience with cross-functional strategic planning, including resource allocation and risk assessment.
