DEA Compliance Analyst completes records and reports relating to the storage, processing, documentation, reconciliation, distribution and reporting of controlled substances under the direction of the Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to ensure compliance with the applicable Federal Regulations during the storage and distribution of controlled substances through the completion of records and reports including DEA-222 Forms, ARCOS Reports, Biennial Inventories, and Year End Reports in accordance with federal & state regulations, and corporate standard operating procedures.
- Conducts random audits and review of controlled substance inventories as directed by management.
- Assist with DEA training programs as necessary.
- Assist with loss or theft investigation of controlled substances.
- Facilitates the collection, labeling, auditing, storage, security, transportation, and destruction of all controlled substance waste.
- Reviews DEA-related SOPs as directed by management.
- Provides compliance guidance to other business units using applicable regulations and SOP’s.
- Supports audits, investigations and ensures accurate and timely completion of reports.
- Responsible for assisting Manager in applying a proactive anti-diversion program.
