What you will do:

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated using their record of accomplishment, experience, and continuous enablement, to work collaboratively with aligned Sales Account Executives and Customers. You will guide the customer as a trusted advisor, to apply security best practices with our solutions within their operational environment. You must be comfortable working with long-standing, strategic, global customers with years of solution ownership. You must be skill at time management to prepare an organized and analytical approach to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive engagements that will require strong presentations, demonstrations and proof of technical value.

The essential duties of the Solutions Engineer shall be in offering CyberArk’s product solutions to customers and prospects, including:

  • Technical pre-sales support
  • Proactively seek out new sales opportunities by developing new and existing technical relationships within prospective accounts and current active customers
  • Present CyberArk’s technical value proposition to customers and partners effectively
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Conduct and Ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs)
  • Documentation of client feature requests and issues in CRM system
  • Support CyberArk and partner seminars and industry trade shows
  • Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Develop technical knowledge of CyberArk and associated technologies
  • Assume the role of a mentor to other system engineers when appropriate
  • Share knowledge and create training content for the SE organization when appropriate
Qualifications
  • MIS/Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Strong experience with IAM solutions including IdP's and MFA solutions (CyberArk Identity, Okta, Ping, Entra ID, Active Directory) administration
  • Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to present high quality product demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work cross organizationally toward solutions; excellent leadership and consensus building skills
  • An understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations that meet functional, technical and regulatory requirements
  • Prior experience with CyberArk Software implementation or administration is preferred or relevant experience with integration of complex enterprise applications, infrastructure platforms, and Cloud Providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of securing secrets for application workloads and authentication configurations a plus
  • Scripting knowledge using REST API’s a plus
  • Foundational knowledge of authentication and POSIX standards for UNIX/Linux platform a plus
  • CISSP, SANS, CyberArk Defender and Sentry certification preferred

The salary range for this position is $113,000 – $160,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
