Sr Controllership Manager
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, U.S. GAAP and statutory requirements with respect to customer contracts, business proposals and ongoing customer engagement. Participate in merger and acquisition diligence and integration activities. Review unbilled receivables, advances, and other aspects of long-term contract accounting. Ensure internal controls are designed and operating effectively, identify deficiencies, develop corrective action plans, and continue monitoring for timely remediation and closure.
Balance Sheet Reviews, internal and external audit support.
Review significant transactions with external auditors and address questions / observations.
Support quarterly reporting requirements, including disclosure schedules and miscellaneous accounting matters.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, and eight (8) years of direct accounting and financial analysis experience in progressively responsible roles. Full term of experience must include: oversight responsibilities for accounting and financial analysis; technical accounting knowledge and research skills in U.S. GAAP, related to revenue recognition (ASC 606), including gross-to-net assessment, evaluating performance obligations and estimating stand-alone selling price; performing contract reviews including modification, renewal options, post-contract customer support and termination clauses; accounting experience for joint ventures and related consolidation evaluation; experience with SOX 404, including assessing internal control framework, evaluating effectiveness of controls, and remediating control deficiencies; proficiency in accounting for business combinations (ASC 805) including reviewing opening balance sheet, projected financial information, fair value measurement and consideration transferred; ability to work cross-functionally and develop strong working relationships across organizational and functional boundaries to obtain all relevant facts, understand the business requirements, identify the accounting requirements and communicate the conclusions reached; understanding of the financial statement close process, including journal entry review and account reconciliation and ability to play a key role in developing and implementing new financial process improvements; and experience leading and coaching junior team members. Must be a licensed CPA. Up to 10% international and domestic travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
