Your key responsibilities
We’ll look to you to interact directly with the serving as the first point of contact for stakeholders seeking technical support and assistance. This role requires a customer-focused mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

- Provide infrastructure and configuration support for server-based applications
- Provide application, network, and application administration on Linux and Solaris servers
- Provide system engineering and 24/7 on-call Tier 2 help desk support to ensure ongoing integrity, performance, uptime, and availability of each Service/Application
- Provide 24 X 7 support on an on-all and rotational basis
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Work with the ISSO to provide input in writing documentation and implementing controls for certification and accreditation support with Authority to Operate (ATO) and/or Authority to Connect (ATC) artifacts and any associated audits for all ISB Services/Applications
- Assist with proactive trouble resolution for On-Prem Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Active Directory Federation Services Technologies
- Troubleshoot and adjudicate alerts from various monitoring tools such as:
- SCOM (System Center Operations Manager); AD FS; SQL; Splunk; Dynatrace
- Manage routing approvals and provisioning for Privileged Access Request (PAR) /and Role Access Request (RAR) to the AppAuth/DHSAuthPortal environments
- Provide root cause analysis for production issues and document the steps taken to fix the problem using the Government approved Problem Management template in ServiceNow within 72 hours of the issue occurrence
- Support the resolution of system outages by serving as the first line of support. Join troubleshooting bridges when the need arises to provide support and track actions needed from federal Government (24x7 as needed)
- Escalate issues to the cloud provider, data center, enterprise operation center, and/or partner teams that are affecting ISB operations
- Document and maintain daily procedures into SOPs and make them easily accessible for federal Government use
- Manage routing approvals and provisioning for Privileged Access Request (PAR) and Role Access Request (RAR) for all Services
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience
- Experience in Relational and Data Warehouse environment
- Experience developing visualizations and presentations for leadership
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communications skills, and the ability to present a polished, professional, and diplomatic image to clients
- Team oriented individual who can work with multiple sizes of groups, as well as a diverse group of individuals
- Willingness to work until the job is done– and commitment to the mission
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skill
- Ability to work at every level of the organization, from team members to top level executives
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance or higher, which will be driven by the engagement requirements

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $186,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $121,700 to $211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
