What you’ll be doing:
Collaborating with a broad team to help develop strategies and communications for questions involving our technology and business.
Monitoring news sources and alerts to keep tabs on topics in the news.
Enhancing the company’s relationships with the media.
Organizing activities and engagements with company executives and media and other collaborators
What we need to see:
Passion for communications, with strong experience working on issues involving technology, and/or litigation, either in an agency or corporate setting.
Excellent, professional-level writing, editing and verbal capabilities.
Strong collaboration skills -- flexibility to accept input from others and make changes based on circumstances. Team player.
Demonstrated planning, organization and project-management skills. Ability to focus and execute under tight deadlines.
Proactive self-starter who shows initiative and gets things done.
Flexibility to quickly shift priorities and juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once
8+ years experience.
Bachelor’s degree or higher (or equivalent experience).
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Have a love for media and PR – and an ability to assess complex issues, quickly distill them, and communicate effectively with press, analysts and execs. Deep respect for the role of the press and a desire to stay abreast of technology news.
