Job Function:

• The RF Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated RF transceiver IC and modules.

• We work with Design, System, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to create, commercialize, and support RF products.

Major Responsibilities:

• Characterization plan development, first silicon debug, process experiment (split) definition, multiple-source fab matching, device characterization, data analysis using statistical techniques, test limit (guard band) generation, procedure documentation, product report presentation.

• Design and debug of test interface HW (load board), review schematics and layout, test SW (test program) development, HW/SW integration.

• Make recommendation for the selection of appropriate ATE platform for optimal test cost and throughput.

• Establish correlation between ATE and bench measurements and transferring to production.

• Drive failure analysis to completion, yield variance control.

• Drive for short term and long-term test time reduction and yield improvement to meet set goals without compromising production quality for multiple projects in parallel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of mmw/RF transceiver or analog devices. Strong working knowledge of mmw/RF transceiver measurement techniques such as noise figure, gain/power, ACLR, Linearity, phase noise, etc. Mobile System Level knowledge is a plus.

• Strong functional understanding and working knowledge of test equipment (i.e.- power supplies, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power meters, vector network analyzer, signal generator).

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process.

• Hands on experience in LabView/Teradyne UltraFlex development is preferred.

• Knowledge with statistical analysis software package and techniques, quality, and reliability testing. Experience in Six Sigma Statistical Process Control is a plus.

• Highly motivated, fast learner, team player with good communication skills.

• Able to work under pressure independently and with good initiative to overcome technical challenges and meet project schedules.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
