We are seeking a professional to assume a key role in helping Rocky Research, which is our wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell, support directed energy projects for the military. You will design, analyze (including thermal considerations), simulate, and . You will utilize any standard
power conversion topologies such as (buck, boost, Full-Bridge Phase Shift ZVT), input and output filtering, analog circuits such as amplifiers, and pre-charge circuits.
You will also design assemblies with wiring harnesses and work closely with 3D CAD designers on placement and layout of electrical components such as contactors, off-the-shelf power supplies, terminal blocks, etcetera. You will design requirements to meet system needs. You will work with technical subject matter experts to derive performance requirements.
