What you'll be doing:
Conduct timely, objective, and thorough investigations into employee complaints, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, and other violations of company policies.
Interview complainants, witnesses, and subjects of investigations to capture facts and evidence. By conducting thorough interviews, you will gather all the necessary information to determine the truth and resolve the issues at hand.
Document all aspects of investigations, including interviews, evidence collection, and findings, ensuring all records are detailed, accurate, and maintained securely.
Analyze investigation findings to determine appropriate resolutions, including recommendations for disciplinary actions or policy changes. Your expertise in employment laws and regulations will guide you in making informed decisions that promote a fair and inclusive work environment.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and HR teams to ensure investigations align with company policies and employment laws. Your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams will be essential in successfully implementing consistent and fair practices.
Aid managers and employees in navigating workplace conflicts and fostering a positive work environment. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in providing guidance and support during conflict resolution processes.
Develop and deliver training to managers and employees on topics related to workplace behavior, ethics, and compliance. By sharing your knowledge and expertise, you will contribute to the continuous development of a highly skilled and compliant workforce.
Present investigation reports to senior management and other individuals as needed. Your skill in effectively communicating investigation findings and recommendations will ensure that decision-makers are well-informed.
Stay informed about federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to ensure investigations and company policies meet legal standards. Your dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest legal requirements will contribute to NVIDIA's goal of maintaining a world-class standard in employee relations.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 12+ years of experience in employee relations, HR investigations, or a related role.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., EEOC, FMLA, ADA, Title VII).
Strong investigative skills, including experience conducting interviews, gathering evidence, and documenting findings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on investigation findings.
Experience working in a corporate environment and collaborating with cross-functional, global teams.
Certification in HR or employee relations (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
