Data Engineer, Technology Consulting, Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1512597), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Dallas, TX.Collaborate to deliver solutions utilizing leading big data platforms and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, Databricks, GCP, Cloudera, etc.). Assess the merits of different technology solutions (e.g., cloud native vs. cloud agnostic) to make recommendations. Study and transform data science prototypes into production-ready systems with large volume data requirements. Design and implement solutions for data aggregation, improve data foundational procedures, integrate new data management technologies and software into the existing system and build data collection pipelines.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Electronics Communications & Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Electronics Communications & Engineering or a related field and 4 years of work experience.Must have 4 years of experience in hands-on developmentMust have 3 years of experience in cloud, data pipelining, data modeling and productionizing AI/ML models.Must have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of AI/ML Engineer, Cloud data engineer, or a Data Architect or similar role over with minimum of 1 completed projects.Must have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of code technologies such as:
- Java
- Python
- ScalaMust have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of code technologies such as:
- Kafka (or similar)
- NiFi
- Hadoop
- SparkMust have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of Big Data querying tools such as:
- Pig
- Hive
- ImpalaMust have 3 years of experience with a minimum of one or a combination of NoSQL databases such as:
- MongoDB
- Cassandra
- Neo4JMust have 3 years of experience with Data ingestion, data cleaning, ETL, traditional warehousing and data marts, and data & insights provisioningMust have 1 year of experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.Must have 3 years of experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architectureMust have 1 year of experience in at least one Machine Learning library/framework (scikit-learn, Mahoot, MLib, H2o, etc.)Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
