Skills and attributes for success
- Demonstrating an understanding of complex global, federal, and state employment tax concepts and effectively applying your knowledge to client situations
- Experience providing employment tax consulting and unemployment claims administration
- Experience developing recommendations and implementation plans and make informed decisions in complex and judgmental areas
To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or related field, and approximately 7 years of related work experience
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant tax consulting experience or equivalent experience in business or industry
- CPA, J.D. or CPP certification (or the ability to obtain certification within the first year of employment)
- Broad exposure to employment taxation
- Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills
- MS office background and willingness to travel (up to 50%).

- Advanced degree in tax or law is highly desirable

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $104,100 to $190,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $124,900 to $216,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
