management best practices. In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and
thorough knowledge of network administration, design and architecture.

● Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
● Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices
● Creating and implementing network security measures.
● Monitor network performance and integrity
● Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local
infrastructure
● Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
● Mentor team members on technical issues
● Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster
recovery)
● Maintain complete technical documentation
● Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability
● Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
● Participate in an on-call rotation. Willingness to participate in escalated issues as
required

● BTech/BE in Computer Science engineering or a related field
● Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Architect
● Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)
● Solid background in network administration and architecture
● In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing
protocols (e.g. BGP, VRF)
● Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including F5 (Irules, GSLB, LTM), Palo Alto (Security policies and IPSec VPN), Dell Sonic OS (EVPN) and Cisco
● Familiarity with access control models and network security
● Knowledge of coding and automation languages for scripting (e.g Ansible, Python, Terraform)
● Experience with network diagnostic, SNMP and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds
network tools)
● Knowledge of Kubernetes and GCP will be an added advantage
● High-level problem-solving and communication skills.
