You will report directly to our ACST General Counsel and you'll work out of either our Herndon, VA or Golden Valley, MN locations on a hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization by providing expert legal advice and ensuring compliance with government contracting laws and regulations. You will contribute to the development and implementation of legal strategies and policies to support the company's objectives in government contracting.

You will also be afforded an opportunity to grow and enhance your legal skills in the areas of commercial transactions, go-to-market strategies, and Intellectual Property law.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on government contracts and compliance matters
  • Review and negotiate complex government contracts and agreements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in government contracting activities
  • Advise on risk mitigation strategies and dispute resolution related to government contracts
  • Stay up to date with changes in government contracting laws and regulations

US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on government contracts
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting laws and regulations
