Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate key expedite capability
  • Lead time reduction initiatives with Purchasing / Spares Organisations
  • Undertake problem solving and trouble-shooting
  • Cost reduction initiatives
  • Inventory reduction initiatives
  • Develop & Evaluate new suppliers (Fit into the SPARES Org)
  • Develop good relationships with current suppliers
  • Summarise results in a written report or presentation formats
  • Global supply chain and logistics initiatives – Setting up supply to support Spares regions
  • Develop and understand key SPTS purchasing processes
  • Generate SAP reports and build controlled measures
  • Understand and create data to support targets
  • Measuring market conditions and identifying key global constraints
  • Connect with the Spares team to support tool down scenario, for regional forecasts and to build purchase plans
  • Develop reports to support OTIF to SPARES >90%.

Qualifications Summary:

  • Proven experience within a Purchasing role
  • Degree in a Supply Chain or Logistics Management category.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good IT Skills (minimum Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • CIPS Accredited-Optional
