About the Role

Be responsible for the US Tax compliance and work on various assigned projects to aim at automating processes and creating best practices on an international level.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare forms relating to US Domestic, SALT and International tax compliance in Onesource Income Tax tool (including all required schedules and workpapers) and other associated tax return disclosures. Form 1120 and various other form preparations.
  • Ability to handle large workpapers, large volume of data and Tax returns.
  • Assist with preparation of Book to Tax Adjustments, posting adjustments in OIT and preparation of Proformas in OIT
  • Assist with preparation of workpapers for the Tax return preparation.
  • Assist with preparation of Consolidated Tax Return.
  • Assist with preparation State Quarterly Estimate workpapers, Extension calculations and prepare Estimate and Extension forms.
  • Assist with preparation of State returns as required.
  • Prepare the disclosure and Forms required to be attached with the Tax returns.
  • Prepare/Review US CbCR report and workpaper.
  • Assist with other compliance related tasks for US and Non-U.S. activities and calculations as required.
  • Ability to perform Tax research on Tax laws and regulations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
  • 4-5 years of US Domestic Tax and SALT experience required with experience in US International is an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Onesource Income Tax software is a must (TAS and Organizer both)
  • Enrolled Agent preferred.
  • Previous Big 4 experience must and Industry experience preferred.
  • Process oriented and an advocate of standardization of finance/compliance function.
  • Work independently on complex tax concepts, calculations and large amounts of data.

What You'll Need

  • Working knowledge of Onesource Income Tax software for Domestic and International workspace is a must.
  • Thorough Knowledge of US Corporate Tax is a must and experience in US International is added advantage
  • Experience in working (preparation and review) on US Domestic Tax form 1120 and an added advantage of knowledge in US International Form 5471, Form 8858 all related forms.
  • Knowledge and experience in researching various Tax issues.
