Can you:

• Interpret information security requirements and reasonably apply them to specific situations?

• Be the subject matter expert who can enable the business while protecting them and at the same time work with Third Parties to ensure our customers’ data is protected while in their control?

• Build relationships with internal teams across the Capital One enterprise?

Responsibilities:

• Partner with divisional third party managers, risk offices, and executives to maintain an understanding of third party risks identified by IA TPM

• Provide consultative services related to IA TPM while applying risk based judgment to information security issues

• Drive IA TPM risk remediation through advice and challenge

• Ensure IA TPM risk is appropriately managed and escalated

• Assist Third Parties, Third Party Managers, or Accountable Executives with understanding risks identified by IA TPM

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Security conducting Risk Assessments or Information Security Audits

• At least 2 years of experience in Business Continuity, Supplier Management, or Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 1+ years of experience at a Financial Institution

• 2+ years of experience in PCI DSS, CoBIT Framework, Physical Security, or IT Operations Management

• CRISC, CISSP, or CISA certification
