Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Machining and bench fitting repair on aero engine hardware in accordance with approved manuals and repair documents. Meet drawing and dimensional specifications requirements using various air tools, shop equipment, and hand tools.
• Proficient in Vertical Milling is a must (conventional and CNC assist).
• Additional skill in lathe is a plus (conventional and CNC assist).
• Ability to do simple CNC programming would be a plus.
• General knowledge of usage of air tools, shop equipment and hand tools.
• Inspect finished product and accurately use various industry standard measuring tools.
• Ensures that work carried out meets the required quality as stated in the respective manuals and technical documents.
• Perform equipment maintenance via establish TPM guidelines.
• Practice 5S principals and maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
• Initiates & implements continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.

MUST HAVE:

• At least a NTC certificate or higher
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Minimum 2-3 years of vertical milling various materials.
• Must be able to interpret blueprint drawings and use of aircraft component manuals and/or publications.
• Strong team player with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to work on rotating shift
