ResponsibilitiesThis role is ideal for someone passionate about using software to address system-level challenges and eager to work in a multifaceted, multi-functional environment.
- Learn and understand existing software, and lead software development to achieve the project goals.
- Contribute to ongoing development, testing, and iterative software solutions improvement.
- Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams in the cleanroom environment to support software testing, tackle issues, document investigation findings, and contribute to solution implementation. Perform software issue investigation, root cause analysis.
- Conclude practical solution to address improvement of software reliability, maintainability, and performance. .
- Develop creative solutions to exciting problems rarely found elsewhere, collaborate multi-functionally with hardware, subsystem, system, manufacturing and service teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Will spend time in cleanroom environments in performing integration and tests (50%)
- Occasional global travel to headquarter for training and supporting engineering projects (10%)
Required skills
- Multidisciplinary background in either Physical science, Mechanical engineering, Computer science, or relevant fields.
- Hands-on experience in problem-solving, demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve issues in multi-component system involving software, hardware, and optics.
- Practical experience working with precision instrumentation, imaging equipment, or experimental setup in lab or cleanroom environments.
- Skilled in identifying, isolating, and resolving software and hardware issues during bench-level and system-level testing
- Proficient in LabVIEW for crafting and implementing software applications.
- Experience with computer vision or image analysis methodologies.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Possess high curiosity, be a fast learner, and have the strive to turn ideas into quality production code used in most meaningful applications
Preferred but not required- Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD)
- Experience in one or more programming languages such as python, C++, C#, other than LabVIEW, is a plus.
- Track record of completed team projects for solution connecting hardware and software.
- Hands-on development in semiconductor CAPEX business segment
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
