Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a fieldwork leader on financial statement audit support engagements by evaluating clients’ IT control environments and developing effective solutions.
  • Act as a stream leader on business consultancy engagements in the fields of cybersecurity, risk management, IT, and business continuity management.
  • Analyze client IT environments, identify risks, and evaluate controls to ensure robust security measures are in place.
  • Conduct application system analysis of Segregation of Duties (SOD) and Sensitive Access to evaluate whether the roles and privileges assigned to business and IT users cause violations or conflicts in the financial accounting and reporting process.
  • Lead and manage cybersecurity risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews for clients across various industries, including financial services, commercial, healthcare, and Fintech sectors.
  • Design and implement technical and general computer IT audits, systems development, conversion, and application control reviews, including process and procedure documentation, control identification, test plan creation and execution, and executive reporting.
  • Perform in-depth control assessments, document test requirements, and suggest remediation alternatives where necessary.
  • Facilitate the use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the cybersecurity and digital risk landscape.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on digital and cybersecurity risk matters.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, including white papers, articles, and presentations.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of your work while continually developing your personal skills through learning, experiences, and coaching.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, PCAOB) and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
