WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Be a legal business partner to Wiz’s procurement team.
  • Structure, draft and negotiate a high volume and broad range of contracts with different kinds of vendors and agreements, including marketing agreements, consulting agreements, events production and event sponsorship agreements, SaaS and software agreements, data processing agreements, services agreements, etc.
  • Review of privacy aspects in vendor agreements including data processing agreements.
  • Advise finance, HR, product, R&D, sales and marketing teams on legal, compliance and privacy matters that are relevant to these teams’ engagements with different vendors.
  • Support the continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes.
  • Manage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with internal stakeholders and delivering results efficiently and quickly.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 5+ years of in-house legal/ experience in a software/technology company or a commercial department of a leading law firm
  • Significant experience in working on procurement contracts.
  • Experience in handling and dealing with data privacy matters, including a good understanding and knowledge of privacy laws (GDPR, CPRA and other global privacy laws).
  • Licensed to practice law in Israel/UK/EU/US or with relevant legal experience or education.
  • Native English required.
  • A pragmatic and “business friendly” attitude with an understanding that the legal team’s primary purpose is to support the growth and success of the business.
  • Ability to take ownership of and to lead all legal processes in relation to Wiz’s procurement practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to advocate for a position while maintaining a collaborative and open-minded approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including during US and Israel business hours.
