Job Summary

The Global Security (GS) Team provides security protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of JPMorganChase, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance,oversee Security Guard strategies, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety.

As a Regional Security Manager in the West Region, you will lead the planning and execution of security programs at JPMorganChase corporate facilities inNorth Texas .You will have the opportunity to develop and implement enhanced security protocols, procedures, and policies to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities. In addition, you will serve as the Global Security liaison to the LOB site leadership teams within the region. If you are passionate about security and have the knowledge and expertise in managing a large physical security program, this role is for you. Your role will involve travel with occasional overnight stay, providing you with the opportunity to promote programs that will achieve both the business and security program objectives.


Job Responsibilitie
s

  • Manage a professional staff of Site Security Specialists and Area Security Managers across the Region.
  • Respond to incidents and coordinate staff follow up, including necessary investigation and risk mitigation, in partnership with LOB business management, corporate partners, andvarious lawenforcemententities .
  • Develop and maintain relationships and lines of communication with law enforcement agencies, key LOB partners and management, participate in key management meetings to maintain visibility and open lines of communication, and coordinate plans to mitigate known civil disturbances, protests, etc. that have proximity or target company locations and personnel.
  • Oversee guard force strategy and deployments in assigned facilities. Evaluate and track key vendor metrics and financial specifics.
  • Perform periodic security review and risk assessment at assigned facilities and conduct periodic security and personal safety training.
  • Support security infrastructure projects at assigned properties.
  • Be available for after-hours response to emergency incidents.
  • Travel on occasion to assist with corporate events security and executive protection support as needed.

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • College degree from a 4-year accredited university and 10+ years of security management experience with corporate security local/state/federal law enforcement, or military.
  • Hands on experience in performing risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting threat modelling, and performing security reviews
  • Advanced analytical skills, decision making capability, strong critical thinking and high degree of comfort in fast-paced dynamic/ambiguous environment operating with initiative from the strategic to tactical level
  • Strong security product knowledge and investigative experience
  • Attention to detail and delivery oriented, able to effectively plan and track to prescribed timeline, excellent follow-through
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, able to work with multiple teams, including the ability to effectively lead a team or work unit
  • Hands on experience in performing risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, and performing security reviews
  • Experience in information gathering, tracking, and consolidation, reporting, dashboards, and presentations
  • Knowledge of physical security technology systems and strong familiarity with physical and procedural security concepts
  • Self-starter and motivated, flexible and comfortable working with multiple competing timelines and able to operate with limited supervision
  • Effective ability to communicate in a concise manner both in speaking writing and leveraging Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
