About the jobAs a Software Development Engineer specializing in Office 365 infrastructure, your responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing components, services, and systems to oversee hundreds of thousands of cloud servers and devices. Your goal is to ensure high availability, low latency, and cost-efficient enterprise cloud services. Additionally, you'll leverage cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning and AI to apply them at the cloud infrastructure level on a very large scale.
Required Qualifications:
• BS/MS in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related engineering field
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, C/C++, Python, Go, etc.)
• Familiar with one of the major cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, etc.) and one of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in software component design, implementation, and release of software features.
• Effective communication and collaborative skills.
• Open-minded, collaborative, innovative and eager to learn mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed cloud service.
• Strong proficiency in web (frontend or backend) development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across multiple geographic locations.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software features and services in a large-scale, distributed cloud environment independently.
• Explore multiple design solutions and achieve balance by leveraging analytics data and insights.
• Resolve customer-reported issues promptly, identify needs, and translate customer feedback into requirements.
• Collaborate with global peers, engineers, partner teams, and program managers to deliver state-of-the-art cloud technology.
• Continuously improve your skills and knowledge to stay up to date and contribute to the culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
