Job Description

Employee relations

  • Respond to general questions about HR-related matters, policies, and procedures and act as the first point of contact for employees regarding employee certificates and local HR requirements.
  • Collaborate internationally with other HR stakeholders across the organization, including Centers of Excellence, Cluster HR Operations Team, Global Talent Acquisition Team, L&D, Compensation & Benefits, and the cluster HR Team.
  • Prepare employee communications (written, print, online, etc.) for general HR and function-specific services.

Recruiting & Onboarding

  • Provide assistance to managers in initiating the recruitment process and collaborate with the Global Talent Acquisition Team to ensure a smooth and coordinated recruitment and pre-onboarding process.
  • Provide support with the hiring process (i.e., local point of contact for hiring documentation) and onboarding program. Offer guidance to People Managers regarding onboarding programs and systems, and train new hires on HR programs and policies.

HR Vendor Management

  • Manage day-to-day HR vendor relations with employment agencies, payroll providers, benefits providers (health insurance, voluntary pension funds, brokers, well-being vendors, etc.).
  • Manage HR vendor service levels, including coordinating operations, creating purchase orders, processing vendor payments, data exchange, and contract updates.

Employee Data Accuracy & Records Keeping

  • Coordinate HR document management, working closely with HR Centers of Excellence, People Managers, and external vendors.
  • Regularly communicate with the Global HR Operations Team regarding changes in employee contracts or payroll-related data.
  • Prepare employee contracts, verification letters, and other documentation for employees.
  • Under the guidance of the HR Lead, update and maintain policies and procedures, job classifications, etc., ensuring compliance with company guidelines and applicable employment law.

HR Systems

  • Update employee records and information in the HRIS (Workday) system to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist People Managers in making employee changes in the HRIS (Workday) system.
  • Administer and process time and attendance data (including time corrections) in the ARS system.
  • Regularly update and manage content on the Intranet and HR Portal (general HR, policies, guidelines).
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc HR reports, providing comprehensive and timely information on requested data.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR portfolio and localization of global HR projects.

Employee Engagement, Well-Being, and Benefits

  • Support the local implementation and usage of globally designed compensation and benefits programs.
  • Prepare communications, presentations and workshops for various well-being and engagement programs and offer guidance to internal stakeholders (engagements surveys, Best Places to Work certificate, Well-Being, and GD&I programs, etc.)

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, Social Sciences, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of proven HR experience as an HR Generalist, HR Administrator, or a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
  • Croatian or Slovenian native speaker
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of local employment and labor laws is a plus.
  • Experience with HRIS systems like Workday is desired but not mandatory.
  • Proactive with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced international environment and under time constraints.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a "can-do" attitude.
