As the MR Excellence Leader for Academics, you will be contributing to the design and development of products and their interaction with the human body. You will be responsible for departmental operations planning/execution and focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. You will be guided by established policies through the review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
Responsibilities
- Develop strong clinical relationships with top academic medical centers in the market and contribute to building GE’s credibility through excellent customer interaction
- Continuous interaction with key clinical, research and administrative decision makers to understand primary objectives and pain points.
- Champion assimilation and use of advanced system features and imaging techniques; optimize adoption and satisfaction
- Consult with radiologists by disease site on an ongoing basis to optimize image quality
- Optimize protocols to achieve best possible image quality on scanners
- Assist in standardization across installed system base
- Partner with department leaders to increase efficiency
- Identify training needs and opportunities among technologists and physicians
- Assist with introducing new offerings/studies; Assist customer in adopting and advancing new product (NPI) features and imaging techniques to meet clinical and research needs
- Liaise closely with account team to ensure optimal alignment and communication to drive customer satisfaction.
- Partner with the SBU (Strategic Business Unit) and Modality teams to provide insights of customer learnings and competition; provide a feedback loop to SBU and Modality teams on product performance at assigned academic sites
- Act as focal point for modality team, identify customer satisfaction issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests.
- Establish and drive relations, collaboration, and partnerships with all department/relevant stakeholders; engage with key opinion leaders on progress made and gain consensus on next steps/actions
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent and 5+ years of MRI technical/clinical industry experience; plus, ARRT certification.
- Previous experience in the Healthcare Industry
- Ability to travel 30 - 50% of the time by air or car within the region assigned
- Demonstrated clinical skills, viewed as subject matter expert, to include advanced applications in respective modality
- Excellent interpersonal skills; interest in and aptitude for close customer interaction
- Ability to effectively interact with key stakeholders in modality/commercial/service teams
- Experience in speaking, presenting materials relevant to a diverse audience
- Ability to craft well written training reports and communications to a diverse constituency, working knowledge of Excel & Power Point
- Applicants must reside or be willing to relocate to the Northwest - Up State New York area. Relocation Assistance is NOT available for this role.
