Job Summary

In this role, you will be accountable to:

  • Advance and maintain compelling partner service tracks under the NetApp Partner Program to attract Partners and to provide clear differentiation in the marketplace
  • Be recognized as an authority in partner services and contribute services knowledge to NetApp worldwide partner initiatives
  • Guide the financial intentions of partner-led services to advance overall NetApp revenue

Essential Functions:

  • Examine market opportunities and NetApp go-to-market strategy to design and advance services tracks under NetApp Partner Programs that maximize partner margins and contribute to NetApp solution adoption
  • Develop and recommend benefits and incentives to attract and retain services-focused partners
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to co-develop benefits and offerings that differentiate NetApp and advance partner-led services business through resale and service provider sales motions
  • Drive awareness of partner service capabilities across NetApp to enable co-sell opportunities
  • Maintain currency on service industry trends to set program direction
  • Evaluate program performance to guide future development and evolution
  • Evolve automated and impartial performance measurements that validate partner service skills
  • Balance longevity of partner service programs with quarterly sales plays

  • Adept at building partner programs that adapt to cultures worldwide while maintaining global consistency
  • Demonstrated ability to move from strategic direction to tactical execution in a dynamic environment
  • Effectively communicate and influence cross-functionally and at all levels from contributor to executive
  • Ability to proactively voice recommendations and guide outcomes aligned to overall goals
  • Proven understanding of partner service business models, competitive landscapes, and industry trends that guide partner program development.
  • Effective presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to tailor messaging to the appropriate audience, both internal to NetApp and externally to Partners
  • Effective ability to build relationships that influence field actions to deliver on corporate and worldwide partner organization objectives.
  • Knowledge of service pricing methodologies and financial models
Education and Experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience is required.
  • A University degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Prior experience with partner programs is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience with managing IT services portfolios or IT service delivery teams is highly desirable.
