- Manage the cross functional team to ensure NPI activities and product launches are “non-events"
- Lead the build core team meetings to coordinate all aspects of prototype builds, set build plans and evaluate constraints. Lead, guide, and mentor junior team members
- Drive material readiness with supply chain and material planning teams
- Provide direction to project engineers for priorities and trial requirements
- Coordinate with process and quality engineers to support new product roll outs
- Own product roadmaps and perform cost analyses to reduce product cost and manage inventory
- Aid in the development and roll-out of robust NPI procedures and processes
- Achieve OKR(s) relating to: scope, schedule, cost, yield, rate, and capacity
- Degree in Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
- Evidence of exceptional ability managing multiple complex programs/projects simultaneously
- 3+yrs. experience in mix of engineering and Project Management fields
- Experience in Production/Manufacturing environment (semi-automated preferred)
- Production Operations Knowledge - Has a firm understanding of how complex production lines operate including key items such as industrial workings between facilities/departments, line balance, OEE, error proofing, etc
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are tailored to various audiences: executive, non-technical and technical team members
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage large teams
- Works well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Various other activities as assigned to support NPI and/or other production departments
