Brief JD of “Construction Interface Engineer”:
• Based on agreed and signed off Design Interfaces, monitoring, and tracking of each construction interfaces at site.
• Leading or supporting the site walks daily to capture challenges faced by one contractor with another. Once issue is highlighted, Coordinating with different delivery teams for fast (2days) resolution of the issue.
• Checking each Interface points at site and highlighting to management in case of delays by one to another.
• Review shop drawings/GFC at Interface point and observer/ensure that contractor is following sequence of Installation of works which avoids rework on site. For example, before conduits are installed on the ceiling, under deck insulation should be carried out.
• Reporting to Management on Daily basis on challenges that are stopping completion of works on site for Interface related works.
• Generate weekly construction Interface report on site status of Interface delivery elements planned vs actual. Like Power tie-in to IOSL planned vs actual.
• Support ORAT team to get site readiness status weekly for activation milestones.
• Ensuring Interface Stage 3a (schedule Interface) & stage 3b (construction Interface) are aligned and signed off.
• Back ground education and experience should be of MEP Engineer with additional knowledge of building civil and Arch.
B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Required 7 Years of experience who understands Building Structures.
