Description
With the Localization Creative Director (CD), in this role you’ll help lead the transcreation of US creative work for 40+ languages, ensuring that the brand is communicated consistently and that we’re speaking in a way that’s culturally relevant for each market and language.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years experience working in creative localization on an international level with other writers and editors in a marketing communications organization.
  • Direct experience transcreating and editing headlines and copy from US English and/or working with creative translations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a multifaceted, complex creative environment.
  • Exhibit excellent creative judgement; know how to ask the right questions to get to the best creative solutions, especially for headlines.
  • Deep knowledge of and interest in translation and transcreation, including machine translation.
  • Great collaboration and communication skills, able to connect effectively across different teams and functions to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Solid understanding of interactive, retail, film & video, processes.
  • Able to manage and navigate many different projects at one time.
  • Excellent English-language writing skills.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
