DevOps, Platform Engineer, Financial Services Office (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1530388), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Dallas, TX.

Build scalable integrated processes to fulfill the requirements of different software projects which change their technology stack on a case to case basis. Responsible for design, implementation, and ongoing support of production services, applications and platform components (data ingestion pipeline, event engine, data persistent store, analytical store, messaging queue, data provisioning pipeline). Design and build CI/CD pipelines. Leverage technical skills in systems management, software development and data store administration to provide best-practices guidance. Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures. Direct software programming and development of documentation. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management or a related field and 4 years of work experience.

Must have 2 years of experience in microservices oriented architecture, Web services standards and best practices.

Must have 4 years of experience in one or more of the following change management technologies: Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.

Must have 4 years of experience in delivering IT and application automation using one or a combination of the following automation tools:
- JIRA and/or
- Trello

Must have 4 years of experience in building CI/CD pipelines.

Must have 4 years of experience in Linux administration and scripting using bash.

Must have 4 years of experience in Java.

Must have 3 years of experience in cloud-based environment with PaaS & IaaS.

Must have 3 years of experience in one of the following:
- Kafka; or
- RabbitMQ

Must have 3 years of experience in one of the following:
- ELK stack; or
- Splunk

Must have 3 years of design and methods experience in one of the SQL, NoSQL relational database management systems such as MongoDB, Cassandra, SQL, Neo4J.

Requires domestic and regional travel up to 80% to serve client needs.
