Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
    • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
    • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) people management experience.
  • 3+ years combined experience in data science and/or engineering - demonstrating foundational knowledge of both data science and ML (Machine Learning) operations
  • 3+ years experience in shipping and supporting large-scale computing data science products, features, or content.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience with fraud/security
  • Experience designing and executing on secure initiatives for ML (Machine Learning) Ops (Operations) and research tooling
  • Experience with developing generative AI (Artificial Intelligence)in a COGS (Cost of Goods Sold)efficient manner
  • Experience working across multiple product teams to deliver combined innovations and features.
  • Experience representing innovative work across the greater organization and/or the industry
  • Experience translating complex business problems into prioritized, results-driven team objectives

  • Able to deliver impact through collaborative work across organizational boundaries.

  • Able to positively influence organizational culture and attract and retain great people.

  • Able to work in an agile environment balancing committed work with emerging innovative solutions
