The successful applicant will be performing work in FedRAMP environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e. U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylees, or refugee).

What You’ll Do

Perform capacity, availability, issue resolution and organizational change processes for cloud environments.

  • Ensure that management and monitoring tools are integrated with AWS and Azure.
  • Assist application developers with solving PaaS related issues as needed.
  • Upgrade installed services and infrastructure regularly.
  • Install, configure, and support multiple environments - PROD, Stage, Sandbox etc.
  • Work within small teams, based on agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Open to learn and get trained from senior team members.
  • Be a part of 24x7 on-call rotation for incident support

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years operational experience in IT, Engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of technical experience working with various AWS services like EKS, EMR, S3, Aurora, VPC, Lambda.
  • 2+ years of experience with container-based development and orchestration platforms such as - Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Swarm
  • Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
  • Experience creating automation using AWS SDKs in Python, Ruby, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS GovCloud experience is desired.
  • Strong verbal, written communications, and technical-documentation experience
  • Proven history of working within timelines and the ability to succeed under pressure.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining highly available critically important environments for 24×7 availability.
