The successful applicant will be performing work in FedRAMP environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e. U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylees, or refugee).
What You’ll Do
Perform capacity, availability, issue resolution and organizational change processes for cloud environments.
- Ensure that management and monitoring tools are integrated with AWS and Azure.
- Assist application developers with solving PaaS related issues as needed.
- Upgrade installed services and infrastructure regularly.
- Install, configure, and support multiple environments - PROD, Stage, Sandbox etc.
- Work within small teams, based on agile/scrum methodologies.
- Open to learn and get trained from senior team members.
- Be a part of 24x7 on-call rotation for incident support
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years operational experience in IT, Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of technical experience working with various AWS services like EKS, EMR, S3, Aurora, VPC, Lambda.
- 2+ years of experience with container-based development and orchestration platforms such as - Kubernetes, ECS, Docker Swarm
- Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible
- Experience creating automation using AWS SDKs in Python, Ruby, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS GovCloud experience is desired.
- Strong verbal, written communications, and technical-documentation experience
- Proven history of working within timelines and the ability to succeed under pressure.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining highly available critically important environments for 24×7 availability.
