Provides high quality customer service to both internal and external groupsExperience with SAP HR Application, Business Intelligence (BI), and Workday which includes Portal, Time, Payroll, Data Management, Business Warehouse, and CloudWorking with business users, payroll managers, and vendors to gather, define, and document functional requirements for SAP technical solutionsMaster data management and data auditsDaily support of SAP HR on monitoring, testing, and performance issuesExpertise with SAP payroll module is requiredWorkday process and data knowledge preferredAnalyses and explains all components of payroll processingIdentifies, analyses, researches and resolves errors and discrepancies between Apple’s internal HR/Employee systems and the payroll system to ensure accurate system status prior to payroll processingEnsures all documentation is properly updated and supported according to company policies, procedures, regulatory practices and legal requirementsSolves day-to-day operational problems of varied scope and complexitySupports global peers, acting as a back-up or additional resource for audits, error handling, and payroll processing in the AMR/ EMEA/ APAC regionsHandling of confidential data and understanding of responsibilityAssists other analysts when needed
Minimum Qualifications
  • High level of hands on experience with the SAP HR Payroll modules
  • Technical knowledge of payroll systems and processes relevant to system functionality being supported Workday, Kronos, ADP Global view Payroll, Payroll and relevant interfaces such as GL Postings, Stock, Benefits, Banking and other 3rd party
  • Support Global Payroll systems for technical defects, enhancements or regular maintenance for Payroll Operations/Processing teams on system issues; and create and update system issues tickets as needed, hold regular calls with IS&T, ADP and business partners to communicate & monitor issue closure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Workday process and integration with payroll system knowledge, preferred
  • Strong communication skills with different partners, internal & external; and manage timely communications on critical issues to leadership regarding system and customer impacts
  • Take on team initiatives to drive improvement and consistency globally
  • Participate on customer focused, continuous improvement projects that enhance our customer experience and bring value
  • Availability to work outside business hours to support payroll processing times
  • Providing consulting in system behavior queries and configuration support as needed for Comp services
  • Functional payroll knowledge of global countries
  • Participate in cross-functional testing by creating scenarios, executing test cases, help signing-off and moving changes to production
