DESCRIPTION

In this individual contributor support role, you will perform early lifecycle prevention and reduction of risk as it relates to the operator, maintainer and bystander for new technologies, products, and processes. The team structure enables full life-cycle support with specialized technological knowledge and skills to influence safety design and processes while allowing for better alignment with Engineering and global safety stakeholders.Key job responsibilities
- Leverage Support processes, systems and tools to resolve safety related technical problems.
- Track issues through resolution phase, engaging technical subject matter experts and Safety Manager, as needed.
- Manage, prioritize, and respond to cases within defined SLA’s.
- Create and maintain problem resolution procedures and identify need for new tools to support existing solutions.
- Work with Engineering (SW/HW), Global Support (HSE/ARTS) and Amazon WHS teams to understand safety issues and solution options. Use good judgement skills for decision-making and escalate to AR Safety Manager as required.- Contribute to and approve safety Design Reviews, Solutions layouts, and Risk Assessments, as required by Safety Manager.
- Evaluate installed systems during alpha, beta and prior to release for GA to ensure meeting requirements.
- Manage team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of software development, or 4+ years of technical support experience
- Experience scripting in modern program languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
- Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applications
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating system
- Experience analyzing and troubleshooting RESTful web API calls
