This position is for a Srengineering managerin F5 BIG-IP product team. This role willrs, recruit,e and mentortheir directs while alsoas a coach/guide,to help their group of engineers grow, and expand their professional development.The position willneed to outline expectations,, offer support andwhere necessary for them tosucceed intheir job.

PrimaryResponsibilities

  • Act as an advisorand coachto
  • Performance manage directs to enable engineers tooperateat their highest potential
  • ourcing,interviewingand hiring candidates for open positions, onboarding, guidance to staff, conducting performance evaluations, developing performance improvement plans, and takingcorrectiveactionas needed.
  • Be knowledgeable and a point of contact for product vision, goals, and process.
  • Align engineers to the corporate andoraganization’sstrategy, focus on customer use cases,experienceand quality
  • Recommend changes to policies andestablishesprocedures that affect immediate organization(s).
  • Evaluates and reviewsnew technologieson their applicability to product architecture and design.
  • Model F5 Behaviors and Agile principles

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree

The annual base pay for this position is: $175,728.00 - $263,592.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
