Your role:
Identify, document, and evaluate requirements for image analysis, as well as other data types as assigned.
Evaluate, diagnosis, and recommend improvements (or replacements) for existing data pipelines; this could include changes to tools, processes, and personnel.
Continuously scout and evaluate available and emerging tools for image analysis and computer vision, including generative AI, auto-annotation, synthetic data generation, and tools we haven't even thought about yet.
Ensure that data, environments, and tools power up our R&D work, and cycle feedback from R&D into the stack.
Becomes our team's expert in the proprietary signals and processing from our coolest products, especially for the toolchain translating these data into algorithms.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline plus at least 3 years of experience (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science), or equivalent work experience of 5+ years in a related field.
2+ years of experience with MLOps for AI of images, including tool selection, pipeline development, and quality controls.
Must have experience with full stack development in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure), including proficiency with Python, SQL dialects, and XXX.
Prior experience and/or graduate coursework with computer vision algorithm development.
Extensive R&D background in medical imaging, including image annotation and pipeline utilization.
Proficient in managing data governance processes, including access management, data provenance, and experience with MLOps solutions like Dataiku, DataRobot, etc. Also, skilled in engineering within highly regulated environments (e.g., medical devices, transportation, defense).
