If you are an experienced DevOps engineer with AWS experience and a desire to design and operate systems at a large scale, we want to talk with you. In this role, you will be part of a group of engineers that are responsible for the Cloud Services that enable the Blink product line. You will be involved in the scaling, deployment, and monitoring of these services, and you will be asked to design/implement new services for new features and products. Most importantly, you will focus on the best ways to delight our customers.Key job responsibilities
- Deploy, monitor, and support the AWS Cloud component of the Blink home security system
- Monitor service health, perform log analysis, and automate recovery- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Each engineer is on-call for a week, every eight weeks

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience building services using AWS products
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

- Experience with distributed systems at scale
