Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth and global market expansion by identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities
  • Lead the negotiation with external partners and engage cross-functional support colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of solutions for large complex partnerships
  • Develop and execute an overall business strategy to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities to drive revenue growth and global market expansion

Key Responsibilities

  • USA Strategic Planning: Develop and execute USA PayPal’s multi-year consumer strategic plan. Own business outcomes by driving higher share of wallet, revenue growth, improving margins, and unlocking new commercial opportunities across consumer product lines.

  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, understand consumer behavior, and anticipate competitive threats.

  • Campaign and promotions execution: Oversee the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and promotional activities across all media platforms. Manage and coordinate with PayPal’s Marketing team.

  • Go-To-Market & Marketing Alignment: Lead the USA go-to-market strategy that drive product adoption, align marketing investments, and maximize checkout share of wallet and financial services market penetration.

  • USA Product Roadmap Prioritization: Influence and align product roadmap to turn around USA growth. Identify and prioritize opportunities that enhance customer value and deliver financial impact across the consumer portfolio.

  • Operational Excellence & Performance Management: Ensure robust execution of Growth initiatives, establish clear performance measurement frameworks, and optimize operational efficiency.

  • Performance Reporting & Communication: Regularly report key performance metrics, financial results, and strategic milestones to senior leadership, ensuring accountability, transparency, and informed decision-making.

  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a focused, high-impact team responsible for driving PayPal’s consumer USA strategy and execution. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture grounded in ownership, agility, and results.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading USA Commercial strategy and execution within consumer-facing technology, payments, fintech, or a related industry.

  • Proven track record in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, operations, finance and IT/technology.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives with a full 360 GTM and deliver measurable financial results and customer outcomes.

  • Experience working within complex, matrixed organizations, successfully aligning and influencing multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and translate them into actionable monetization plans.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; skilled at clearly articulating strategy and influencing senior-level stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $188,000 to $323,950
