Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Structures and builds quantitative and conceptual analyses
- Develops strategic priorities for the product team, providing an objective perspective on business’ current and future needs
- Collaborates with cross-functional team across data foundation products, engineering and business products to proactively identify issues, design and execute solutions
- Leads interactions with business leaders, data owners and analytics executives, conducts demos of new functionalities/product features and drives adoption
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply range of analytical tools to develop solutions
- Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills – ability to collaborate and build relationships across all levels, including senior executives, in different lines of business, technology and product teams
- Advanced MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Recent experience working in a client facing role, such as experience with a top management consulting firm or technology product companies
- Experience with AWS data foundational products such as data lakes, data pipelines
- Familiarity with AI/ML-related technologies and tools
