Key Responsibilities:

  • Independent execution and support in handling of Purchase Orders and invoice tracking to ensure good recreipts(GR) booking and vendor payments
  • Independent solution of complex, commercial problems
  • Commercial support of projects and ensuring that they are implemented on time and in the right quality incl. cost tracking
  • Support in annual budget planning and monitoring of budget targets
  • Support in cost tracking and creation of cost-relevant evaluations
  • Execution of external settlements and invoicing
  • Preparation and gathering of the necessary information in month-end and yearly account closeout and accruals
  • Responsibility and timely execution of internal monthly allocations as well as process adjustments and support for system optimization
  • Coordination of commercial issues with suppliers, external companies and adidas internal departments
  • Support in the creation of documentation and presentations
  • Ensure compliance with commercial processes and guidelines
  • Support and optimize processes for the commercial management business of Workplaces
  • Documentation of the processes and decisions
  • Create transparency on costs and budgets

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of internal procedures and processes
  • Advanced experience with budgeting, strategic planning, financial analysis
  • Personal initiative and independent work while in a team environment
  • High level customer service, internal and external
  • Excellent knowledge in the use of MS-Office products
  • Knowledge of SAP & ARIBA, advanced preferred
  • Ability to create reports in a presentable manner to multiple different stakeholders
  • Experience with Smartsheets, Power BI, and other related programs


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance or Business Administration; equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of Commercial Management or Finance
  • Strong English Language required, both written and verbal

*Employees are eligible to earn an annual bonus based on both company and personal performance. Employees accrue prorated flexible time off in the amount .4388 hours per day that increases with years of service, eleven paid holidays throughout the calendar year and Service Time Off during milestone years.

*We officially returned to office in a hybrid work environment, working 3 days in office and 2 days remote.The working location of this position is Portland, Oregon
