The opportunity
- Application testing experience with 5 to 8 Yrs
Your key responsibilities
- Involve in day-to-day testing activities including, test case preparation, test case execution, defect management etc.,
- Should have knowledge on Guidewire suite and Insurance domain.
- Collaborate with internal QA team, development team to gather requirements and implement testing methodologies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of test results and reports - Ensure that testing is completed on time and according to the schedule
- Participate in daily scrum, review meetings
- Involve in Peer-Review of the test cases, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptances Testing and End to End Testing.
- Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress
Skills and attributes for success
- 4+ years of experience in manual software testing
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing lifecycle (SDLC) and in Testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall etc.)
- Testing experience in both Functional and Integration.
- Good knowledge in Requirement Analysis, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Execution, Test case, Test data preparation, End to End Scenario Matrix, Requirement traceability matrix, Defect Management, Risk Management & Root cause analysis
- Should have knowledge in Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing, User Acceptances Testing and End to end testing.
- Should have good knowledge in Test management tools like ALM, JIRA, Rally etc.
- Should have knowledge in Defect Management system.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Testing experience both in Configuration phase and Integration phase
- Able to understand the requirements in depth
- Hands on experience in Test management tools like ALM, JIRA, Rally
- Thorough knowledge in Defect Management system
