Job purpose
- For managing pre-sales, onboarding and service delivery of various Insurance application of Guidewire tech stack and Public, Private & Hybrid Cloud solutions for EY-GDS-consulting’s clientele
Expectations from the Role
As a Managed Services leader, the candidate will be responsible for building a team and running engagements predominantly in Guidewire suite.
- End to end ownership of application support
- Have an overall work experience of 15 years or more , with at least 5 years of Guidewire Policycenter, Billingcenter or Claimcenter implementation experience, solution design, configuration, extension, customization and support experience.
- Must have a good understanding of configuration, build & develop Guidewire components using GOSU, Wizards, PCF, Data Model, Workflow, Activities, Product Designer etc
- Fair knowledge on applications running in Guidewire cloud.
- Exposure to Cloud/ Infrastructure engineering concepts with flair of technology Managed Services with a proven track record of building, developing, and managing service delivery and support teams.
- Experience growing and developing an operation function; i.e. defining operational procedures, setting service standards, defining service level agreements (SLAs)
- Should have experience of executing an end-client facing role
- Good knowledge and experience of Cloud ecosystem and IT methodologies that will be handy to provide thought leadership and guidance to the pre-sales and delivery teams
- Proven ability of working with & operationally managing sub-contracting vendor eco-system
- Possesses leadership qualities, interpersonal skills required to lead and manage high performing teams
- Works across regions to create a market for defined managed services offerings and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets.
- Support member firm to win GW engagements including Architect, Build, implement Solutions.
- Possesses an understanding of IT Services: service offerings, technical standards and policies, technical and business strategies as well as organizational structure.
- Deep understanding of contract constructs and deal financial models related to Support engagements and vendor ecosystem.
- Guidewire certification is preferred.
Experience/Qualifications/Competencies:
- Have an overall work experience of 15 years or more , with at least 5 years of Guidewire centric module implementation experience, solution design and Managed Services, preferably from a top tier Global Outsourcing services provider.
- Have a solid technical understanding of Guidewire suite (in depth understanding of at least one module) and its upgrades.
- Good understanding about the overall architecture including various middleware interfaces and Datahub and info enter.
- Should have significant expertise in setting up and running of Managed Services / outsourced projects – key exposure areas are Due Diligence, Service Transition, Steady state attainment and ongoing continuous improvement.
- Fair knowledge on applications running in Guidewire cloud.
