As application delivery expert you will be owning up the following roles and responsibilities
Provide technical guidance and drive resolution for all customer service requests as per your primary/secondary module skillset and ensuring that all service requests meet the designated SLAs
Drive quality in resolving every service request via appropriate resolution and documentation
Ensure Zero repeat/reopens for any service request
Ensure key takeaways coming out of resolution retrospectives are documented in knowledge base and passed as feedback within the team and if needed among the other stakeholders
Provide inputs to drive automation for repetitive generic service requests within the team
Own technical approvals for every change going in for implementation with service enablement team and ensure a sign off on automation if any devised for the change
Ensure high availability for the supported application via architectural enhancements
Ensure the supported application is secured by resolving vulnerability tickets within the stipulated SLA’s
Design automations to ensure there is quick turn around time for issue resolutions
Participate in engineering syncs and channelize application release readiness within the team
Ensure readiness within the team towards any new solution and design coming in via participating in cross pillar meetings and highlighting challenges
Ensure participations in cross platform/pillar tech talks and drive acceptance /adaptation of new technologies /technical initiatives within the team
Ramp up the team via trainings or knowledge share via delegated team members
WHAT YOU BRING
10+ years of professional experience in Design, deployment and operation of mission critical IT infrastructure
Deep understanding of IaaS/ PaaS/ SaaS, Virtualization and Cloud technologies. Proficient in Microsoft Technologies including MS Windows sever operating systems, MS SQL server, MS sharepoint
Knowledge of Public cloud frameworks like GCP/AWS/ Azure is an added advantage
Knowledge of Load balancers, L3 switches, Linux Operating system and Firewall
Hands – on experience with VM, IIS, SharePoint, DNS, SMTP, Web security including PKI and certificate services. Should have troubleshooting skills and should be well versed with networking and storage protocols to aid in diagnosing and resolving problems.
Deep understanding of web service API’s, SSO, identity management and integration is also necessary
Industry certifications MCSE/ CCNA/ ITIL/ AWS/ AZURE etc. is desirable.
