Job Summary

The Assessment Lead – Talent Management is an integral part of the organization's talent management strategy, responsible for crafting and implementing assessment tools and development plans for emerging leaders. This role requires leading projects from start to finish, designing development interventions, and providing HRBPs with guidance on performance evaluation techniques. The Assessment Lead will also develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of projects and research best practices to influence enterprise talent management initiatives. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent project management skills, and a knack for explaining complex data in simple terms are essential. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects at once, and exhibits a strong sense of urgency to drive initiatives to completion.

Job Requirements

• Lead the creation and launch of new tools for emerging leader assessment, identification, and development planning in a consistent and scalable manner (e.g., leader potential assessment)
• Advise on leadership assessment tool selection, creation, and usage to support senior leader development
• Lead projects from inception through execution, including project plan management, as well as the coordination or requirements gathering, testing, pilots, and after-action reviews
• Develop measures and metrics to gauge the effectiveness of an entire project
• Design and deliver targeted individual and organization development interventions as needed, including competency models, leader assessment, and targeted surveys
• Synthesize best practice research and concepts to inform enterprise talent management initiatives
• Advise HRBPs on techniques for evaluating employees’ performance, potential, and development priorities, and identifying potential successors to critical roles within their respective business units

• Demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic environments; possesses strong judgment and analytical thinking skills
• Possesses exceptional project management, work coordination, and consultation skills
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills; is comfortable delivering presentations to a wide range of audiences
• Able to convey complex, data-based concepts in practical and easy-to-understand terms for general business audiences
• Builds good working relationships with others inside and outside HR; possesses strong collaboration skills
• Must be able to work autonomously and balance multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive initiatives to closure
