THE POSITION

In this role, your impact is comprehensive, encompassing strategic alignment, program efficiency, quality assurance, timely delivery, issue resolution, data analysis, reporting, cost management, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, risk management, team leadership, mentoring and development, compliance, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and organizational growth. You are instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and enhancement of Space programs, contributing to the organization's overall success and competitiveness in the market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the management of SDRLS/CDRLS and submission
  • Develop and implement baseline change management strategies and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with baseline change management standards
  • Manage overall Space level performance metrics and reporting to the Space VP and other Honeywell Aerospace Leaders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program success
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Conduct program reviews and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead and drive strategic initiatives to enhance change management efficiency and effectiveness
  • Prioritize building a strong infrastructure for the program management team
  • Focus on developing and implementing processes, tools, and systems to support program execution and team growth
  • Develop and conduct contractual training activities with the program management community
  • Coordinate all Senior Executive approvals for key acquisition or change efforts
  • Negotiation leadership inclusive of fee assertion and self-assessment
  • Create customer monthly funds status reporting for the VP of Space and Portfolio Directors
  • Support comprehensive risk and opportunity management
  • Lead partnership with HON Law & Contracts for terms review, approvals, and ad hoc L&C inputs as required

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of Government Contract Experience
  • 5+ years’ leadership experience in USG DOD contract acquisition and execution.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Business
  • Extensive negotiation experience for complex development and production programs.
  • Dispute resolution experience.
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
