The position requires a “hands-on” team player who has strong technical and business acumen and the ability and flexibility to work well in a dynamic global environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the global consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations
- Actively participate in the quarterly review and analysis of consolidated financial statements with focus on leveraging and implementing automated solutions
- Tax partnering – key team member in supporting legal entity structure, asset transfers, integration of mergers and acquisitions, etc.
- Provide guidance on global close activities
- Work with regional and cross functional finance teams, / Treasury and Tax departments
- Support the company’s compliance with audit and SOX requirements
- Ensure Business unit and regional compliance with corporate requirements
- Support implementation of systems
Job Specific Knowledge
- Accounting knowledge with emphasison consolidations required
- Analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
- SAP (ECC and BCS preferred)/Systems knowledge
Skills:
- Solid accounting understanding and systems technical background
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well globally with cross functional organizations
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Business
