As an Analyst in the Cash Operations team, you will be responsible for completing fund transfer requests received from our clients both financial & non-financial institutions where transaction requests are received both electronically and manually. In your new role, you will have the opportunity to do investigation, respond to worldwide escalations from clients and/or internal departments and to properly assist stakeholders regarding Payments and back office related issues.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as either maker, checker or authorizer of the transactions received and ensure that transactions are completed accurately and that high value, urgent transactions are prioritized.
- Complete accurately the tasks assigned for the process within the cut-off time and serve as either maker or checker of the task.
- Ensure that the checklist is followed, and queue is monitored at all times.
- Monitor and respond to email correspondence from In-country and both internal and external clients.
- Assist in issue resolution and providing incident report in case of errors.
- Escalate issues as soon as identified.
- Complete all mandatory trainings assigned prior to set due date.
- Be a back-up for other processes of Asia Core Cash Operations (ACCO) as long as no segregation of duty issue identified.
- Perform product verification tests (PVTs) on the system as and when required.
- Provide process improvements to enhance the system and participate in projects call as and when needed.
- Deliver on reports and administrative tasks assigned and assist manager in reviewing the SOP of the process.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- University degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/ Business Administration or any related courses.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Payments/ Cash Operations.
- Knowledge of relevant Central Bank regulations and Accounting.
- Fluent English (oral & written).
- Proactive identify potential risks to minimize loss. Ability to address and manage conflict.
- Ability to implement and manage change.
- Effective delegating, planning and time management skills to meet strict deadlines and team objectives.
